Larry started his initial financial planning practice in 1988.
Part of Larry’s 48+ years in practice include IRS audits, negotiations and settlement work. He has also done extensive work in audit, penalty abatement and appeals. His main attention has been in comprehensive financial planning.
Larry has a great passion for community service. He served as treasurer for the Foundation for the cure of Icthyosis. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Community Home for Adults, JCC Junior sports Chairman and Youth Committee and budget committee. He served as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers and Sisters of Dallas for many years and received their award of Merit.
His love of sports led to a varied coaching career in kids softball, baseball, soccer & basketball-this has allowed him to be a positive influence in the lives of many children and he had the privilege or mentoring. He also relishes his role as current coach of the Temple Shalom adult softball league. He has received numerous awards and championships from this league- most important to him is being inducted to the Shalom Hall of Fame for his leadership, outstanding service, dedication and many years as the leagues commissioner. Besides playing softball, Larry enjoys golf and spectating all his favorite teams in all major sports. He is a movie buff and enjoys reading as well. He loves the ocean, especially on the West Coast. He graduated for University of Texas and bleeds orange.
He is married to Sandy, resides in Frisco and has three children, Michael, Rachel & John all grown up and OTP (off the payroll). Larry & Sandy have five grandkids- Michelle, Little Rachel, Isaac, Arianna & Hutson.
