Amy LeGate is a native of Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University. She moved to the DFW area after meeting her husband and transferred to the University of North Texas to study Financial Services. After completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration, she received her Certified Financial Planner designation.
She is an avid sports fan. She is a diehard Denver Bronco’s fan and because her husband grew up in Houston, she roots for the Texans. She is also an Astro’s fan and of course, roots for anything Texas Tech. Jason, her husband, was born in Nebraska, so the family cheers on the Huskers as well.
Their son, Jackson, is a sports fanatic too. He has played many sports but is now focusing on baseball. Jason and Amy are actively involved with his select team through coaching, walk-up music, live streaming, and video clips. The family has fun traveling for his games with his team and when he plays individual tournaments.
Jason, Amy, and Jackson share not only a love for sports but a love for travel. They try to go to a new state and/or country each year. Jackson’s first plane ride was to Atlanta, GA at 4 months for a client’s 70th birthday. Since then, he has been on many plane rides and car trips as they continue to add to their adventures.
